Update on our meeting with CCT Management

Posted on 29 July, 2024

Aged Care

We recently had a meeting with the new GM of People and Culture at CCT and we are pleased to say it was productive. This meeting provided an opportunity for HACSU to articulate and outline the issues that have been raised by our members.

The discussion was open and transparent, addressing the current concerns of members as well as historical issues raised by you and past workers at CCT. It was a frank exchange that highlighted the importance of acknowledging these issues and committing to collaborative solutions.

We are encouraged by the verbal commitments from CCT management to recognise and address these issues in partnership with HACSU and the staff. However, we have requested formal, written commitments and are currently awaiting their response.

It is evident from our meeting that meaningful change at CCT requires a joint effort from HACSU, management, and all staff members. Your courage in voicing these issues is commendable and essential. Without your input, progress towards resolving these issues would not be possible.

Moving forward, we emphasise the importance of continued collaboration and open communication to ensure that the commitments made are upheld and that tangible improvements are implemented in your workplace. Together, we can make a real difference.

If you want to discuss any of these issues further, please call HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email [email protected]

For more information about this or any other industrial matter, members should contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email [email protected] or complete our online contact form
