Allied Health preceptor allowance out for consultation

Posted on 21 December, 2023 in Allied Health Professionals

The protocol for the AHP preceptor allowance or level 1 and 2 AHPs is now out for consultation.

We’ve received some feedback but we thought you might want some more time to have your say.

Whilst it’s great to have a preceptor allowance and be acknowledged for your teaching and guidance of newer AHPs, there is a theme emerging from the feedback about doing the same work with assistants and technicians but not getting any acknowledgement.

We’re sure there’s more there too, so please let us know your thoughts or suggestions. We have until 19 January to provide our feedback to the department.
