The Department of Health have released six work health and safety (WHS) procedures for consultation and we’re keen to hear from you about any feedback you have.
WHS is vital and we know that there is a myriad of issues that can be managed far better than they have been.
The procedures out for review are:
- WHS Planning Procedure and WHS Management Review Procedure
- Occupational Violence and Aggression Procedure
- Hazardous Chemical Management Procedure
- WHS Test and Tag Procedure
- WHS Risk Management Procedure
You can access these six procedures on the WHS consultation page on your intranet at work, and we have copies if you need them to be sent to you.
If you can, take the time to review any or all of the procedures and provide any feedback and suggestions to us by 14 June. Any feedback will have to be considered and responded to before the procedures are finalised, so it’s important that you raise any issues that you have.
If you have any questions or want to see the draft procedures, please contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email [email protected]
